Baldrige CEO Attitudes and Motivations: Developing a Model of Excellence [Research Report]
This report details the findings from an exploratory study on the motivational and attitudinal patterns (MAPs) of CEOs who have led organization transformations resulting in recognition of the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award. The report identifies a Baldrige CEO Model of Excellence with seven differentiating factors and 17 common leadership factors. Read more...

Beckhard’s Change Formula
Are you dealing with a change initiative that has stalled? If so, chances are one (or more) of the variables in Beckhard’s formula is the problem. Beckhard's Change Formula presented in this paper is adapted slightly from the original. I would like to thank Sandy Mobley the founder of the Learning Advantage for introducing me to this formula several years ago. Since that time I have used it to help senior executives diagnose existing stalled change initiatives and proactively plan for successful change initiatives.
